Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aide - Riley Family Physicians(Full-Time)

Clay County Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aide to join our Rural Health Clinic team at our Riley Clinic. This full-time position will directly support our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing high-quality care to patients in a respectful, safe, and confidential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general registration and front-desk duties
• Room patients, administer various assessments/screenings and obtain vital signs accurately
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups
• Answer phones and take detailed messages professionally
• Assist with documentation and manage patient forms
• Support the provider with daily clinical and administrative tasks
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor to ensure patient privacy and emotional safety

Requirements:

• Certification as a CNA, Medical Aide, or Medical Assistant (preferred, must be in good standing in Kansas)
• Clinic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold a safe, welcoming environment for all patients
• Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic medical records
