Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in our medical clinic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical skills, medical knowledge, and compassionate approach to support our provider. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate patient assessments, and efficient documentation—all while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment committed to excellence. Duties Perform patient intake procedures including collecting medical histories and documenting chief complaints with accuracy and professionalism. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature to assist clinicians in patient evaluation. Assist with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care, dressing changes, and basic life support (BLS) procedures. Support provider during examinations and procedures by preparing equipment and other diagnostic tests as needed. Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR systems), ensuring all patient information is accurate, complete, and compliant with privacy regulations. Assist with specimen collection. Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to provide high-quality patient care. Qualifications Valid LVN license or certification; experience as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred. Prior clinic experience in outpatient or inpatient settings. Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation; proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy is essential. Ability to perform vital signs collection accurately while demonstrating excellent patient service skills with compassion and professionalism.
