Full Job Description Front Office Duties:

Greet and check in patients Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations as needed Collect copays and process patient paperwork Manage patient records and electronic medical records (EMR) Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area

Back Office Duties:

Room patients and obtain vital signs Prepare examination rooms Assist physicians with patient care and procedures Document patient information in EMR Handle prescription refill requests and patient communications Coordinate laboratory testing, referrals, and follow-up appointments

Qualifications:

Previous medical office experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required Phlebotomy skills a plus but not required

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
