Medical Biller

Medical Biller We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for handling the full medical billing process, including claim submission, payment posting, insurance verification, and account follow-up. The ideal Medical Biller will have strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical billing procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit medical claims accurately and in a timely manner Review patient accounts and verify insurance information Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companies Post payments, adjustments, and patient payments into the system Work with patients regarding billing questions and payment arrangements Ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer guidelines Maintain accurate account documentation and billing records Collaborate with office staff and providers to resolve billing discrepancies

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Medical Biller or within healthcare revenue cycle management Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD coding, and insurance processes Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid claims Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing software systems The ideal Medical Biller will be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing claims from submission through payment resolution.
