Medical Billing Specialist

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the billing department supporting the revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

$25/hr What's the Job? Manage and process client billing information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory policies Coordinate insurance verification and ensure clients understand their co-pay responsibilities Follow up on unpaid claims and resubmit rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement Gather and verify all necessary documentation before submitting claims for payment Perform customer service support by resolving billing inquiries and maintaining accurate records What's Needed? Experience working with front-end rejections and claim resubmissions Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients, payers, and team members Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and billing compliance standards What's in it for me?
