Job Description

VibrantCare has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our Central Billing Office Team in Sugar Land ! No remote option. The AR Supervisor actively performs the daily tasks of the AR Specialists, as well as leads the department by example, through training and daily positive interaction. Additionally, ensures the highest level of customer service is provided to providers, payers, fellow employees and patients in efforts to resolve all outstanding claims. The AR Department is responsible for working all unpaid claims, utilizing aging reports, correspondence, email, and phone calls. The AR Supervisor manages and performs the daily activities of the Accounts Receivable (AR) Department's operations and staff, including the reporting of productivity and other key metrics. Experience Requirements Supervising 4-6 employees Reading EOB's, following up on claims, file appeals, be familiar with insurance portals provide excellent customer service Commercial insurance collections of 75% or greater of daily tasks.
Basic Essential Functions:
Supervises and manages the AR Department. Distributes work among members of the team and reassigns when other team members are absent. Acts as a liaison between team members and leadership for policy, procedures, and processing issues/inquiries. Represents job function in meetings. Supervises projects and provides analysis as assigned. Responsible for training, and developing department personnel in conjunction with Company objectives. Implements goals and operating standards for the AR Department in coordination with cd. Analyzes productivity reports for department team members. Understands and informs members of team on monthly, weekly, and daily performance targets. Monitors, reports and proposes solutions to leadership on any problems or backlogs. Conducts performance reviews, suggests appropriate actions, and monitors improvements in assigned job function(s). Investigates and follows up on all open account balances overdue for 60 days or more and determines reason for non-payment. Audits accounts and follow up as appropriate Works the specified minimum number of accounts per day as established and reports all account work on daily productivity reports (the current number of accounts per day to be worked is 40). Assists with the filing of insurance claims including printing claims to paper and sending/receiving EDI transmissions as needed. Sets up and processes payment plans with patients on overdue accounts. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
