More about our team Our full-service clinical laboratory at HRMC operates 24/7, providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, pathology, and urinalysis. Serving both inpatients and outpatients, we offer routine and STAT testing, backed by a skilled team consisting of a board-certified pathologist, medical technologists and technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff. Committed to accuracy and timeliness, we deliver the critical results providers need to ensure the best possible patient care. How you'll contribute An MLT who excels in this role: Performs chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures for which competency has been verified. Maintains in a timely manner, records of procedure performance, patient results, and quality control. Follows defined protocol for investigating out-of-control runs and implements necessary remedial action. Reviews relevant laboratory reports for extraordinary results and clerical errors before they are reported to the patient's medical record. Maintains equipment in accordance with defined policies and protocols and logs preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment. Continuously helps to monitor job performance of peers or other employees. Performs secretarial, phlebotomy and specimen reception duties.             Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state MLT ASCP, AMT or NCA license and possess an associate's degree in Applied Science or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college.
            Additional requirements include:
            • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
            • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
            • One year of experience preferred
