Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join a clinical laboratory team in Camden, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases while maintaining compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, tissue, and other specimens. Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control procedures and standard operating protocols. Prepare, analyze, and process laboratory specimens efficiently and accurately. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records. Follow laboratory safety regulations and infection control standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding test results and patient care. Utilize laboratory information systems and computer applications effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required. Active Arkansas MLS/MLT license required. Knowledge of microbiology, hematology, immunology, biochemistry, microscopy, clinical diagnostics, quality control, specimen collection, and laboratory safety AL01
