Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures to support clinical diagnoses, research initiatives, and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in laboratory techniques, specimen processing, and data management, ensuring accurate and timely results. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to advancements in medical science while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and process biological specimens through venipuncture, blood sampling, and other collection techniques while maintaining strict aseptic procedures Conduct laboratory tests including ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), PCR (polymerase chain reaction), flow cytometry, immunoassays, and RNA extraction Isolate DNA and RNA from various specimen types for downstream analysis Manage laboratory information systems to accurately record, track, and analyze data Perform routine laboratory procedures such as blood banking, specimen processing, and physiology assessments Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure calibration, and adhere to quality control standards Support clinical trials by preparing samples, documenting results, and maintaining compliance with protocols Follow laboratory safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist in data analysis to interpret test results for clinical decision-making or research purposes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize laboratory workflows and improve efficiencyQualifications:
1-2 years of MLT experience in Clinical Laboratory. ASCP Certification. BLS/CPR.
