By collaborating directly with senior care facilities, our goal is to enhance patient care, increase satisfaction, and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Office Assistant to support our medical office and clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable assisting with both administrative tasks and basic patient care support. The Medical Office Assistant will work under the direction of the office manager and providers to help ensure smooth daily operations, organized patient flow, and a positive experience for the residents and facility teams we serve.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and assist with preparing them for exams. Update medical histories and assist with patient intake. Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures, as directed. Support scheduling, patient flow, and daily office communications. Help maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized. Help track and organize medical and office supplies. Follow office policies, HIPAA guidelines, and patient confidentiality standards. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, facility staff, and internal team members. Provide general administrative support to the office manager and clinical team. Help ensure smooth day-to-day workflow and excellent patient service.Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare, or clinical support role preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable using EMR systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software. Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with a team. Must be reliable, professional, and patient-focused. Ability to work full-time in person.Compensation & Benefits:
