As a key part of our environmental services team, you will ensure all areas of the medical facility are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to industry best practices. Your efforts directly contribute to the health and safety of everyone who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Perform cleaning and sanitation of exam rooms, patient areas, restrooms, hallways, waiting rooms, and administrative offices with precision and care Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure floors, surfaces, and fixtures are spotless and disinfected Follow established protocols for infection control and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards to maintain a safe environment Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment and high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and countertops Properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with health regulations and environmental services guidelines Conduct routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold professional appearance standards Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure continuous safe operations Requirements Previous custodial or janitorial experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly preferred Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to healthcare environments and cleaning procedures Experience with environmental services including sanitation techniques specific to medical facilities Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift Join us in creating a clean, safe space where health thrives!
