Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist in a fast paced Urgent Care Clinic for a full time position. A medical receptionist is the first point of contact entering our facility. This role ensures a smooth, professional and efficient experience for every patient by managing check-ins, verifying insurance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our clinical team. Because urgent care operates at a fast pace, reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to keeping the patient flow steady and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism. Verify insurance, collect copays and explain basic billing information Enter and update patient information Answer phones, schedule appointments and route messages or question to clinical staff Support patient flow by coordinating with nurse and providers Maintain HIPPA compliance and protect patient privacy Assist with filing, scanning and general administrative tasks. Maintain a clean, organized reception area and assist with admininstrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills:
Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional. Medical terminology : Familiarity with common urgent care terms and procedures
Multitasking Ability:
Comfort managing high patient volume and completing priorities
HIPPA Compliance:
Understanding of patient privacy and confidently requirements
Problem Solving :
Ability to troubleshoot scheduling issues, insurance questions and patient concerns
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Medical Office Experience CPR certification New hires begin with a 90- day probationary period, during which attendance, reliability, clinical performance and workflow efficiency will be evaluated. Only qualified candidates will be considered. Salary is negotiable for suitable candidate.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
