Medical Receptionist

Vittori Foot & Ankle Specialist is looking for a professional and energetic Medical Receptionist to join our podiatry practice in Homer Glen. You will be the face of our office, ensuring a smooth experience for our patients while managing front-desk operations and providing occasional clinical support. We offer a stable, Monday-Thursday schedule with no weekends.

Responsibilities Patient Coordination:

Greet patients, manage a multi-line phone system, and schedule appointments with accuracy.

EHR Management:

Utilize Meditouch EHR to enter patient demographics, scan documents, and maintain up-to-date electronic records.

Insurance & Billing:

Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient copayments/balances at the time of service.

Clinical Support:

Assist the team by rooming patients and sanitizing exam rooms between visits to maintain office flow.

Compliance:

Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications Experience:

2+ years of experience in a medical office setting preferred (Podiatry experience is a major plus).

Tech-Savvy:

Proficiency with EHR systems; specific experience with Meditouch is highly preferred.

Communication:

Excellent phone etiquette and a professional, welcoming demeanor.

Detail-Oriented:

Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy in insurance verification and charting.

Schedule & Benefits Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience).

Hours:

Monday - Thursday (Full-Time). No weekends.
