This role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing medical billing and coding, and supporting administrative functions within a busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, medical terminology, and billing procedures, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. Bilingual skills and clinic experience are highly valued to enhance patient communication and office efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients professionally at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification processes accurately Collect payments and handle medical collections with attention to detail Review and update patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries with professional phone etiquette Maintain organized filing of medical records and documents in compliance with health information management standards Support administrative tasks including data entry, typing , filing, and office management duties Assist with patient intake procedures and coordinate care plans as needed Utilize office software such as Microsoft Office for documentation and correspondence Qualifications Proven experience in medical office administration or clinic environment; is a plus Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD10), and insurance processes.
