Role:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will have experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients professionally and courteously Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits Obtain and process prior authorizations for procedures, imaging, medications, and DME Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information Collect copays and assist with front office administrative duties Coordinate with providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding authorization status Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times Qualifications Previous medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations required Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems Strong communication and multitasking skills Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Spanish is a plus
