Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant

Podiatry Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant (Full‑time) We are a busy podiatry practice seeking an experienced Medical Scribe who can also support clinical MA duties. This is a hands‑on role for a detail‑oriented team player who thrives in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. Key responsibilities

• Real‑time documentation of patient encounters in the EHR (history, exam, assessment, plan)
• Prepare charts, room patients, take vitals, assist with procedures
• Rooming tasks: intake, patient education, medication lists, recording allergies
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with phone triage and follow‑up tasks
• Ensure chart accuracy and coding support for visits Required qualifications
• Minimum 1-2 years documented medical scribe experience (must)
• Prior medical assistant experience or clinical exposure in outpatient setting
• Proficient with EHR systems and accurate, fast documentation
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy (lower extremity/podiatry a plus)
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills Preferred
• Experience in podiatry, orthopedics, wound care, or similar specialty
• Experience with insurance authorizations and chart coding support Schedule & compensation
