The Medical Scribe will assist providers by accurately documenting patient histories, recording examination findings, updating electronic medical records, and supporting efficient clinic operations. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Responsibilities Transcribe patient medical histories and examination findings Update and maintain electronic medical records Assist with chart preparation and documentation support Support coding documentation and template updates Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping Follow all HIPAA, privacy, and compliance standards Travel as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Post-secondary healthcare education preferred Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds Strong verbal communication, hearing, and visual abilities What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent support to both patients and healthcare providers.
