Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) and Telemetry care to play an integral role in supporting patient outcomes within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals, using evidence-based practices in a fast-paced setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license (required) Minimum of one year recent experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry nursing Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proficient in electronic health records and bedside documentation Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate patient-centered care Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in urgent situations
Schedule:
Full-time hours, including potential for weekends and evenings based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing frequent physical assessments and vital sign checks Provide comprehensive care for a diverse adult patient population with acute and chronic medical conditions Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and interventions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry monitoring utilizing advanced clinical knowledge Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning Maintain accurate, detailed records in compliance with hospital standards and policies
