AM Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 12 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years. 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred. 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Required Skills/Experience:

Unit experience must include 12 continuous months. 1-2+ years Med Surg experience required

Special Requests:

Scope of role:

EKG, IV insertion, medication administration, Foley insertion, vital signs, assessment documentation, assisting with RSI, conduct point-of-care testing (blood glucose). The Medical Surgical Care RN will provide direct nursing care for the General Medical Patient as well as Surgical patients including short stay procedures, Orthopaedic, and Stroke Patients. Patients also would include Remote Telemetry Monitored patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

Nights, 7p-7:30a, every other weekend and every other holiday. Blocked scheduling may be requested. No call required 7 days maximum time off 2 references required from within the last 12 months Driver's license required for submission
