Medication Aide (CMA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to residents in long-term care setting. What you'll do Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate medical documentation Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive home-like environment Assist with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas, following aseptic techniques Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Basic qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Medication Aide Certification as a Nursing Assistant or similar role Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology Preferred qualifications Experience in long-term care, dementia care or assisted living environments Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as PCC Background in geriatrics, Alzheimer's, dementia care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities Why you'll love it here We are dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment where our employees can thrive both professionally and personally.
