Overview As a Medication Technician / Resident Assistant , you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and overall well-being. You will also assist with medication administration (as applicable), activities, dining support, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support use and care of assistive devices (glasses, hearing aids, etc.) Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition Light housekeeping: making beds, cleaning resident areas, emptying trash Escort residents throughout the community Assist with resident orientation and integration into the community Escort residents to and from dining areas Assist with meal service, table setup, and cleanup Support dietary team as needed Assist with and lead resident-centered activities under direction of Activities Coordinator Encourage participation in social and recreational programs Monitor for safety hazards and report concerns Respond appropriately to emergency situations Maintain accurate documentation and follow all regulatory requirements Collaborate with team members, leadership, and families Communicate professionally in all situations Report concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator or leadership team
Skills:
No experience required - we provide training! Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to work independently and respond in emergency situations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Why Join Us?
