Job description: Metals Manufacturing Industry Experience A MUST!!! Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Melt Supervisor to lead and oversee the melting process within our manufacturing facility. This pivotal role involves managing the daily operations of the melting department, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met consistently. As a key leader on the production floor, you will coordinate with various teams to optimize workflows, maintain equipment, and uphold our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Duties Supervise the melting process, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production schedules Coordinate with assembly line teams to ensure timely and efficient flow of materials Operate and monitor equipment such as furnaces, conveyors, and other mechanical systems involved in melting operations Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools, performing basic maintenance or troubleshooting as needed Manage warehouse inventory related to melting materials, including forklift operation for material handling Train and mentor team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures Document production data, quality checks, and incident reports accurately for continuous improvement Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a focus on melting or metal processing preferred Hands-on experience operating forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing machinery and processes Warehouse experience, including inventory management and material handling skills Familiarity with factory safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment Previous supervisory or team lead experience in an industrial setting is advantageous Join us to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality products through innovative melting processes!
