Requirements:

Key responsibilities include: Planning and leading dementia-friendly activities that support cognitive function and emotional well-being Creating and posting monthly activity calendars tailored to memory care Encouraging participation through gentle guidance and individualized approaches Providing one-on-one engagement for residents who benefit from personalized interaction Partnering with team members, families, and community groups to enhance programming Ensuring all activities meet state regulations and memory care best practices Tracking participation and documenting resident engagement Assisting with resident transportation and transitions to activities as needed Experience in memory care, recreational therapy, or a related field is highly valued. Most importantly, you bring empathy, flexibility, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors living with memory loss.
