Job Description
Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring for a Mental Health Associate to serve the Dawson Springs School District.
PURPOSE:
To provide therapeutic interventions, referral and assessment services to clients/children in a school based setting.PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Will consider LPCA, CSW, or Bachelor degree in a Human Service field.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline (i.e:
psychology, social work, counseling) from an accredited college/university and experience working with the targeted population. Minimum of Bachelor degree in Human Services field required.SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
One year experience with appropriate evidence-based practices preferred. Good verbal and written skills; creativity; patience and flexibility. Must pass a background check and have a valid KY driver's license.EEO/AA RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct support to students with mental health needs in a school setting. Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized care plans. Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with teachers and parents to address behavioral challenges. Participate in crisis intervention and support students with developmental disabilities. Collect data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.Job Type:
