40 hours/week (Guaranteed) Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Coordinator to provide non-medical clinical mental health services within a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver counseling services to support the mental health needs of inmates while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and care. Key Responsibilities Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments through record reviews and inmate interviews. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional levels. Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing mental health support. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient health records. Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively within assigned caseloads. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of clinical experience , including 2 years in a similar role . Strong background in mental health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Education Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution. Certifications & Licensure Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of California (required) . Valid driver's license preferred (if applicable). Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay:

$3,300.00 - $3,400.00 per week
