Day Shift Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical mental health services within a secure facility. The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering non-medical mental health care, including assessments, treatment planning, counseling, and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and professionalism while delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments through record review and clinical interviews Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Provide ongoing therapeutic services, including counseling and behavioral interventions Deliver crisis intervention for acute mental health concerns Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical interactions Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with regulations Apply evidence-based practices and psychological theories in treatment delivery Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure effective outcomes
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
Certifications & Licensure:
Active state licensure as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Minimum age of 18 years Valid driver's license preferred
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Demonstrated ability to provide counseling and crisis intervention in a structured environment Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills High level of professionalism, ethical standards, and attention to confidentiality For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
