Job Description

About the Role As a Partner in Wellbeing, Mental Health Professionals counsel clients during emergency and crisis events. Works with clients in a clinic, school, or community setting. May work with clients in a virtual platform when appropriate. Connect clients to services, support, and resources. Work directly with clients to assess health, create plans, and evaluate progress. Responsible for the development and implementation of treatment plans. Essential Responsibilities Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in one or more of the following settings: home, office, school, or community settings. Facilitate sessions with individuals, couples, groups, or families. Refer clients to other necessary service providers. Complete initial and ongoing mental health outcome measurements. Create a treatment plan and implement it based on each client's recovery vision and needs. Monitor client progress during treatment and modify approach as necessary. Communicate and coordinate with families and all treatment team members internally and externally (medical, legal, psychiatric, county, SUD) to coordinate care during the treatment process. Complete all documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory expectations. Comply with agency policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. complete and update intake, screeners, releases, and forms/paperwork as needed. Participate in supervision, team meetings, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings. Participate in an on-call professional consultation role for the mobile crisis unit. Provides clinical oversight to mental health practitioners' clients in co-assigned facilities. Schedules time effectively to ensure assigned billable hours targets are met. Focuses on integrated health (physical, mental, substance use, and oral0 care, ensuring clients are referred to any necessary internal and/or external services to support their overall well-being. Ensures care coordination activities are client-centered. May provide clinical supervision by contract outside of the agency. Provides clinical presentations representing Alluma at community functions. Performs additional duties as assigned or requested. Position Requirements Required Education, Certification, and Experience Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Certification, licensure, or registration with the clinical discipline. Unrestricted independent licensure as an LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT in Minnesota Unrestricted independent licensure as an LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT in North Dakota, preferred. Training or certification
DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR
preferred. Must pass a criminal background check through MN DHS NetStudy. Access to a personal vehicle and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities. Valid driver's license and insurable under the agency's automobile insurance policy. Free from substance use problems for no less than 2 years. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and families with mental health symptoms and/or diagnoses. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Skill in completing timely and efficient documentation preferred. Ability to guide, direct, and coach people. Ability to work cooperatively as a team member. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to maintain client confidentiality per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
