Job Overview:
The Mental Health Screener responds to the emotional needs of those requesting assistance through screening, assessment, crisis intervention, referral and outreach. Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services or disposition according to patient's clinical needs consideration of least restrictive alternatives
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors in required field -
Psychology Certified Screener Preferred:
1 to 2 years experience
Certifications and Licenses Required Certified Screener Scheduling Requirements Nights Per Diem Job Overview:
Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services or disposition according to patient's clinical needs consideration of least restrictive alternatives.

FT Essential Functions:
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports in a timely manner prior to end of shift Provides hotline information/referral/interventions that conforms to Screening guidelines Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services/ disposition according to patient s clinical needs consideration of least restrictive alternatives Screening Document contains clear description of dangerousness due to mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS Screener Certification training Screening Document reflects clear description of patient s mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS Certification training
