Mental Health Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Provide crisis intervention and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
• Utilize evidence-based practices in therapy sessions
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families
• Stay current on advancements in the field of mental health

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or working towards licensure
• Experience working with children and adults individuals or families is preferred
• Knowledge of medical documentation and coding (ICD-10)
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, child and family counseling, behavioral health, addiction counseling, social work, and individual/group counseling
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
