Job Description
Overview Compensation We Offer The initial compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 - $25.83 per hour; depending on experience, location and internal equity considerations 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications
This position requires a solid understanding of mental health practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage complex client interactions in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive manner. Responsibilities Provides direct support to clients through therapeutic activities, behavioral interventions, and skillbuilding exercises. Assists in implementing individualized treatment plans and documents client progress toward goals. Participates in intakes, assessments, and team-based case planning as appropriate to program structure. Conducts check-ins, wellness calls, and crisis support under clinical supervision. Supports clients in navigating resources, attending appointments, and achieving recovery goals. Documents services provided in electronic health records in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines. Supports a safe, structured, and inclusive environment across settings. Communicates observations and concerns to clinical supervisors and contributes to case discussions. May assist in onboarding, guiding, or mentoring newer staff or interns. Participates in trainings, team meetings, and supervision to support continuous learning and service quality. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High School Diploma or GED and four (4) or more years of relevant experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education) to include:
- Three (3) years of experience working with adults experiencing mental illness, trauma, or co-occurring conditions.
- Familiarity with behavioral health documentation, EHR systems, and Medi-Cal standards .
- Experience in residential, outpatient, or field-based mental health programs .
- Current CPR/First Aid and crisis de-escalation certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on setting.
