• 400 Old Franklin Tpke, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 Store #350
• 240 Commonwealth, Martinsville, VA 24112 Store #399
• 80 Westlake Rd, Hardy, VA 24101 As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include: Display a variety of outdoor plants Maintain product displays Water all plant materials Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed Ensure proper signage is in place Maintain a safe and clean display area Remove and record expired plant material Interacting with store personnel and customers Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates Complete report for each store serviced Be able to assemble/dissemble benching Document every visit using the GoSpotCheck app where available As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to: Have a smart phone Work outdoors in all elements Have dependable transportation Have a valid driver's license Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively Understand and execute planograms Use workplace mobile apps Be able to assemble/tear down outdoor benching Our ideal candidates will demonstrate the following: Strong communication skills Highly organized Detail Oriented Responsible, reliable and dependable work habits Self-starter / Self-motivated Previous merchandiser experience appreciated•will train strong candidates
