Metal Stamping Press Operator Qualifications:

0-3+ years of experience Operating Stamping, Transfer, Auto Punch Presses, Progressive/Transfer Dies, or Metal Forming/Hydraulic Press Equipment required 3+ years of operating experience preferred Ability to Read Blueprints, Work Orders/Quality Docs, and Production Sheets required Follow Safety Procedures and willing to Wear PPE (Steel Toe Boots, Safety Glasses/ Gloves, Hearing Protection, and Kevlar Sleeves) required Experience using Hand/Measuring Tools, Grinders, Mills, Lathes, or Quality Gauges preferred Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred

Responsibilities of Metal Stamping Press Operator:

This role involves operating metal stamping press equipment in a manufacturing facility that produces metal parts and assemblies Responsibilities include operating and setting up presses, loading materials, checking product quality, inspecting finished parts, adjusting machine settings, and reading instructions/ blueprints Additional duties include assisting with die changes, handling scrap/materials, troubleshooting machine issues, using measuring tools, and performing basic machine maintenance Work may involve progressive or transfer dies, automated press lines, conveyors, robotic systems, forklifts, and metal forming equipment used in automotive, industrial, HVAC, appliance, and heavy equipment manufacturing Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
