We are currently looking for an additional welder/metal worker with machinist capabilities that has an eye for detail and production to help us better serve our customers. This position may be either part
• or full-time depending on the applicant and their abilities.

Ability to travel and work offsite is required, as well as able to work independently. This could be a fun, rewarding position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Welding/cutting/drilling as directed on carbon steel
• Following drawings/work checklists as needed
• Production of unique (one off) parts as directed
• Working independently or with others in a team environment to complete projects safely & efficiently
• Communicate well with others as projects move along

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license, with dependable transportation and the ability to occasionally work off site
• Ability to pass a background check
• At least 5 years experience in a mechanical position
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Proficient with

SMAW, FCAW

& Oxy-acetylene torch operation

• Ability to successfully pass a welding certification test (ASME IX)
• light machining/metal fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
