ABOUT THE POSITION
The Quality / Assembly Specialist is a vital part of our CID team. Marketlab believes in manufacturing only the highest quality of polyethylene products. Your work will ensure we live up to our customers' expectations. This position will be assembling products while continually looking for ways to innovate the process. The ideal candidate is one that can follow the work rules, work independently, and be flexible and willing to perform a variety of jobs. We will invest in your growth by developing your knowledge of the manufacturing process and quality controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assemble acrylic, polycarbonate plastic products. Follow assembly instructions to inspect products with adherence to current GMP/ISO standards. Timely completion of master device records that is compliant to
FDA 21 CFR
part 820. Reviews work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work. Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems. Read, understand, and follow written procedures to meet quality standards. Operate forklift. Find new ways to improve productivity. Ensure the production floor is clean at the end of the business day. Complete miscellaneous assignments as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Three to six months related experience and/or training. Prior experience with ISO standards. Able to read a tape measure. Excellent communication skills to work with all team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physically able to lift 50lbs. Ability to tolerate temperatures in the workspace that fluctuate throughout the year.
