EVS ASSISTANT SHIFT MANAGER

Assist Assist in the training of Environmental Services team members in OSHA standards and regulations; document and maintain the appropriate records. Assist the leadership team in administrative functions up to and including disciplinary actions, team member counseling, training, cross training and development of new supervisors. Assist in thepletion of team member evaluations as outlined in Company policy. Schedule Schedule the cleaning of public and casino areas and assign duties to ensure timelypletion. Schedule team members to ensure all sections and areas are adequately covered. Quality Assurance Conduct frequent inspections of all public areas and the Casino in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness; andplete inspection forms and reports as required. facility problems and required preventive maintenance. Take inventory of supplies and ensure necessary items are ordered. Ensure all equipment is working properly. Prepare necessary work orders and ensure equipment is repaired and returned in a timely manner.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years' environmental services supervisory experience preferred. Valid Michigan Driver's license. Must have a thorough knowledge of all-cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies. Maintain a working knowledge of basic office software and be adaptable to new technology. Initiative Ability to set and achieve high standards of performance. Demonstrate the ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints. Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to logically and independently plan,anize, andplete work. Skills Ability tomunicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Must be able to express ideas or make rmendations concerning job-related issues. Learn specific job duties andplete detailed work assignments, maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
