Temperance, MI Job Details $80,000 - $95,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications English Data collection Full Job Description Position Summary The Quality Manager works with all teams and positions with a focus on ensuring processes which provide customers with "agreed-upon" quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Manages the quality management system and internal as well as external audits. Audit results represent valuable feedback for improvement and will be provided to the line managers Ensures that work processes and standards are documented in an appropriate style so that they are easy to follow and execute by select employees Ensures the quality management system is in line with LEAN principles ensures continuous improvement Quality Management System development, implementation, maintenance, improvement, and review Quality Management System documentation, distribution, and disposal Quality Management System requirements are established, implemented, and maintained Quality Management System performance monitoring and improvement Promote Customer Requirements Awareness Supplier Management System development, implementation, maintenance, improvement, and review Metrology Equipment Management Continuous Improvement Process Corrective / Preventive Action Process Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team Uphold professionalism by providing courteous customer service to employees, visitors, clients, and vendors Performing other duties as assigned Observe all safety rules & regulations Compliance of quality system requirements Compliance of customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives Leadership Expectations Coaches and trains the line managers and team leaders in analyzing work standards, improving and documenting them Supports line managers in establishing visual management tools Understands that work processes and standards need to be documented in a simple as possible way and used as close to the value adding process as possible. Provides this knowledge to the line managers. Desired Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 10 years of Quality Management System experience 10 years of Manufacturing experience 10 years of
ISO 9000
experience 10 years of Metrology experience Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to gather and analyze data Solid judgment and decision making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
