Job Description
Nesco Resource is looking for a Micro Soldering Technician located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (OT Possible, but not guaranteed)Pay:
$22 depending on skills and experiencePosition Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Micro Solder Technician to perform precision soldering, rework, and repair on electronic components and assemblies used in highly regulated manufacturing environments. This role requires strong hand-eye coordination, the ability to work under magnification, and a commitment to strict quality and documentation standards. Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform precision micro soldering on PCBs, connectors, sensors, and fine-pitch electronic components Assemble, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies to specification Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions Inspect solder joints and finished work using microscopes and magnification tools Document work completed, inspection findings, and repair results accurately Follow ESD, cleanroom, and safety procedures at all times Partner with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues and ensure product compliance Maintain a clean and organized workstation, tools, and inspection equipment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Previous experience with micro soldering, electronics assembly, or PCB rework required Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing environments preferred Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods Familiarity with soldering irons, hot air rework stations, microscopes, and inspection tools Strong manual dexterity, steady hands, and fine motor skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards IPC certification (J-STD-001 or similar) is a plus Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with ESD-safe garments and protective equipment Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
