Mid-level Design Engineer

LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with multiple business lines including Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Mid-Level Design Engineer position in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently

Pay:

$85,000 - 140,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform engineering design tasks for projects from preliminary to final design.

Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages.

Establish working relationships and contact with client technical staff and project manager.

Provide engineering design services for traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build projects.

Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design and constructions plans.

Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors and client managers.

Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance.

Actively participate and serve in positions with professional organization(s).

MID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering requiredP.E. license required

Qualifications:
