Mid- Level Industrial Engineer 3
Job Description:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Industrial Engineer to support Fabrication South Carolina Aerostructures (FSCA) in Orangeburg, SC.
Primary Responsibilities:
Applies advanced industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements. Reviews the development of complex plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows. Identifies new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations. Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel. Reviews work flow design and analysis. Leads the development of models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leader and customers. Leads research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilization. Reviews plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods. Evaluates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Leads operations planning, includes work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change, to ensure technical goals and objectives are met. Leads execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices. Monitors production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support. Ensures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. 3 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, Fabrication and/or production environment. 3 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelors degree or higher in Industrial Engineering. 3 or more years of experience working in a team environment. 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.
