Middle School Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate middle school teacher to join our educational team. We are a four day school week, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and fostering a love for learning among students. The middle school teacher will also collaborate with parents and staff to support the educational growth of each child. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach core subjects, which can include math, language, science, and/or history Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Mentor students in their academic and personal growth, fostering skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving with biblical foundations. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress. Skills Strong proofreading and writing skills for creating clear instructional materials. Knowledge of classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment. Experience working with children Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively. Background in Montessori or private school education is a plus. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
