Middle/High School Science Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
• Provide instruction in various subjects, such as math, science, English, and social studies
• Utilize effective instructional strategies and techniques to facilitate student learning
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
• Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction
• Provide academic advising and support to students
• Mentor and guide students in their personal and academic growth
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area (or the ability to get a license; Could be in a grow your own program)
• Experience working with high school students in an educational setting desired
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and techniques
• Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline
