Midnight LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

The Landings at Reed Station Crossing in Carbondale, IL is seeking a full-time LPN for midnight shift. Candidates must have a genuine interest in geriatric care and must be versatile to meet the diverse needs of the residents we serve. Candidates must be highly skilled in providing basic nursing care and must use tact and courtesy in working with residents, their families and visitors.

Other responsibilities will include:

Accurately assesses residents' physical and psychosocial status, educational and environmental needs. Forms continual assessment reviews and revises the care plan needs, problems, and goal changes. Identifies necessary and appropriate nursing interventions pertinent to the plan of care. Accurately administers medications and signs for medication according to policy and within the allotted time frame 100% of the time. Handles crisis situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner. Actively participates in the direct delivery of patient care. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Qualifications will include:
