Ability to follow written procedures, manufacturers' instructions, and safety guidelines consistently. Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and addressing common welding equipment issues. Strong attention to detail to ensure weld quality, proper fit, and adherence to specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications Completion of a vocational school program, industrial trades training, weld class, or welding technology coursework. Knowledge of blueprint and weld symbols (blueprint symbol proficiency is preferred but not required). Experience using forklifts, hoists, slings, and other material-handling equipment. Exposure to multiple welding processes, including FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) and SMAW (Stick Welding). Comfort working in a production or manufacturing environment with chassis or structural fabrication. Why Work Here? You join a stable manufacturing environment where hands-on welding skills are valued and developed through consistent, real-world fabrication work. The schedule offers a predictable first-shift workday with limited overtime extensions, supporting work-life balance. You gain exposure to a variety of welding processes, tools, and fabrication techniques, which can strengthen your experience and support future certification or career growth. The team-based approach, especially working in pairs on chassis fabrication, fosters collaboration and shared problem-solving on the shop floor.
