Job Description

Overview Turner Staffing Group is hiring a Mining Foreman to support operations in Hinkley, California. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing crews, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production goals. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field experience who can drive performance, maintain accountability, and lead from the front in an active mining environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of operators, laborers, and support personnel Ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards Monitor and manage equipment utilization and workforce productivity Enforce all site safety policies and MSHA regulations Conduct daily safety meetings, job briefings, and shift handoffs Identify and resolve operational issues in real time Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime Train, mentor, and develop crew members Maintain clear communication with site management and client representatives Complete required reports, documentation, and production tracking Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within mining, quarry, or heavy civil operations Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and production processes Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Valid driver's license required MSHA certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start) Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment Reliable, organized, and able to make sound decisions under pressure What We're Looking For Leaders who hold their teams accountable while building respect in the field Individuals who prioritize safety without sacrificing production Problem-solvers who can think ahead and adapt quickly to changing conditions Foremen who lead by example and aren't afraid to be hands-on when needed
