CUrrent Crown College Student Posting- Athletic Training Assistant

Anticipated Start Date 26 Aug 2026 Hours Worked Per Week 5-10 The Athletic Training Assistant provides support to the Athletic Trainers throughout the fall semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Support and Model the policies and standards of Crown College as stated in the Student Handbook and Crown Community Covenant. Evidence of Christian character and a commitment to encourage others toward Christ-likeness. Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA. ,Must be in good standing with the college. Responsibilities - Provide a detailed list of tasks and responsibilities. Assist athletic training staff with football home and away game day operations, including setup, breakdown, and logistical assistance Provide support during busy athletic training room hours Assist with select practice coverages With approval from certified AT, can assist with taping and wound care for Crown College athletes Observe injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques Maintain a professional, respectful, and confidential environment in compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies Perform additional duties as assigned that support the daily operations of

Sports Medicine Department Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks. Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email and word processing. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items up to 25 lbs. for extended periods. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Physical Demands:

Ability to move about campus and within work areas as required. Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 4 pounds. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing job duties. Physically able to fulfill duties. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of regular tasks. Ability to operate necessary equipment or tools safely in assigned work areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
