JOB_POSTING-3-16272 Job Description The Admissions Department at Anoka-Ramsey Community College empowers students to begin their educational journey by providing clear guidance, personalized support, and equitable access to an affordable education. The Director of Admissions provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for admissions, recruitment, and placement functions that support student access, success, and institutional enrollment goals. This position supervises admissions staff, develops and assesses comprehensive admissions and recruitment work plans aligned with the College's Strategic Plan, collaborates extensively across Student Affairs on onboarding and orientation, and manages placement processes to ensure accurate and equitable student course placement. The Director serves as a key leader within Student Affairs and works collaboratively across academic and administrative units. This position will have responsibilities at both the Rapids and Cambridge campuses. Rapids will be the home location for this position with some opportunities for teleworking up to two days per week.Salary Range:
$30.55 - $44.24/ hour Minimum Qualifications 1 year of progressively responsible experience supporting students or clients in Admissions, Advising, Counseling, or a closely related Student Affairs functional area. Familiarity with student enrollment database systems such as Starfish, Navigate360, Hobson's, etc. Supervisory, leadership or project management experience of admissions, enrollment management and recruitment initiatives, or other student affairs related functional areas. Commitment to working with and fostering an inclusive environment for a diverse population of individuals. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituencies. Preferred Qualification Master's degree in Student Affairs or related field Knowledge of student information systems such as ISRS, Workday Student, Banner or PeopleSoft.
