$17.25-$18.70/HR Planned Parenthood Great Rivers (PPGR) offers a robust benefits package.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers. This role requires a combination of skill and flexibility, as well as a willingness to work as a collaborative and inclusive member of a team. This role requires a compassionate individual with demonstrated communication skills and clinical proficiency. QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in customer service or health care preferred
  • MA Certification preferred, Phlebotomy a plus
  • Experience with Epic
SCHEDULE
  • Monday - Saturday; 40 hours a week, 8-hour shifts
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consistently demonstrate appropriate service behaviors in interactions with patients and colleagues and practices In this Together and Service Standard values
  • Actively contribute to an inclusive workplace culture by working collaboratively as a valued member of the care team
  • Proactively work to resolve conflict and perform service recovery, as needed
  • Administrative duties include answering phones, making appointments, taking messages, transferring records for patients, and ensuring completion of health center records and required forms
  • Perform patient medical and social history intakes and provide education as indicated for the services patients are seeking, as directed by the supervisor/clinician on duty
  • Complete basic lab work and follow procedures as required
  • Provide patients with non-judgmental pregnancy options counseling and make referrals for services based on the patient's choice
  • Assist licensed medical staff with the delivery of reproductive care as needed
  • Perform all recordkeeping duties related to patient care with accuracy
  • Perform housekeeping and stocking duties as needed
  • Complete HIPAA and OSHA training and other training as required
