Mobile Banking Driver

Clarity Credit Union is hiring for a Full Time Mobile Banking Driver. The preferred candidate will set up and maintain the mobile banking unit at a variety of locations. During mobile banking service hours, the Mobile Banking Driver acts as greeter and security, guarding against property damage and theft. This positions requires a high sense of awareness along with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive mobile banking vehicles and other vehicles on designated routes to serve members. Must maintain adherence to time constraints when affected by mechanical problems, traffic congestion and adverse weather conditions. Set up mobile banking unit upon arrival to designated locations. Ensure power is available, weather conditions are mitigated, and parking locations are clearly marked. Load/unload vehicle cargo. Ensure communications devices, keys and various security equipment are operational. Guard and maintain the safety and security of employees, the mobile unit and liability at all times. Must maintain situational awareness of surroundings, the environment, and people within the vicinity when carrying out duties. Follow all applicable procedures, policies and regulations related to the safe and lawful carrying, handling, care, security and use of firearms. Performs daily general maintenance duties to ensure mobile unit is prepared which may include: charging, dumping, and cleaning. Arranges for routine preventative maintenance of mobile banking vehicle. Perform cash handling, member service, and support duties. Responsible for compliance as assigned with established policies and resulations. Other duties as assigned.

Skills Experience:

One year to three years of similar or related experience

Education:

(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills:

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills:

Minimum of 21 years of age, a valid driver's license, and a minimum of a 3-year satisfactory driving record. Satisfy all Department of Transportation requirements. A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements, as deemed necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to life at least 50 pounds

Mobile unit and outdoor work required.

$26.75 - $29.50 per hour
