Mobile Device Repair Technician

Position Overview As a Mobile Device Repair Technician, you will diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and other electronic devices while also assisting customers in our retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who is technically skilled, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable interacting directly with customers. You will work in a fast-paced retail repair environment where quality repairs, professionalism, and customer experience are top priorities. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and other electronic devices Perform screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port repairs, and other hardware repairs Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Android, iPhone/iPad, Windows, and macOS devices Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality before returning them to customers Use repair tools, diagnostic software, and repair documentation effectively Maintain accurate repair notes and inventory tracking Provide excellent customer service and explain repair recommendations clearly Assist customers with device accessories and technology-related questions Support store operations and help create a welcoming customer experience QualificationsPreferred Experience Previous experience repairing smartphones, tablets, computers, or electronics Experience with iPhone and Android screen replacements Retail sales or customer service experience preferred Skills & Traits Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with steady hands and good organization Ability to multitask in a retail environment Passion for technology and helping people

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
