The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for performing on-site maintenance and light repair work at customer locations. This position combines technical expertise with customer service, representing Knight Automotive Group in the field. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while maintaining the same high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism as in our service facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and light repairs on customer vehicles at off-site locations. Diagnose and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer standards. Operate fully equipped mobile service vehicle, ensuring tools, parts, and supplies are organized and ready for each job. Communicate clearly with customers to explain services performed and recommendations. Coordinate job details and scheduling with the Remote Experiences Coordinator and Service Advisors. Ensure all repair documentation and parts usage are accurately recorded in the dealership management system. Follow all safety and environmental procedures during mobile operations. Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the service vehicle and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service and represent Knight Automotive Group with integrity and professionalism. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle systems. Ability to perform maintenance and light repairs independently and accurately. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple service calls per day. Proficiency with tablets, diagnostic tools, and service software. Clean driving record and valid driver's license required. OEM or ASE certifications preferred (Ford Pro, Lincoln, or equivalent a plus). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying outdoor environments.
